In mid-90s, the Social Observatory of the University of Bucharest was an association mentored by professor Vintilă Mihăilescu, that reunited students in sociology, political science and psychology. The main aim was to promote research, mainly anthropological one, but also some quantitative studies. Professors (like Dumitru Sandu, Alfred Bulai, Zoltan Rostasz, etc.) were often joining the debates, conferences and research activities. I am proud to have been part of the respective association for a while, during my university studies.
